SkyCam9 flew over the scene of a fatal crash on Lake Shore Drive Friday morning.

A 24-year-old man was killed and two others were hurt when a Mercedes Benz rolled over on Lake Shore Drive early this morning, police said.

The crash happened about 5:20 a.m. near West Lawrence Avenue, police said, citing preliminary information. The 2002 Benz lost control and struck the center median before rolling over.

The man who was killed was identified as Milad Mosadeghi, of the 7800 block of North Caldwell Avenue in Niles, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He was declared dead on the scene at 5:33 a.m.

One occupant was pronounced dead on the scene, and two others, a 25-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, police said. Their conditions had been stabilized as of this afternoon.

Following the crash, police blocked northbound traffic at West Wilson Avenue.
