Chicago police tonight said a 30-year-old man who went missing from his South Side home has been located and is safe.
Tommy Williams was found Friday, said police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien. "He is safe and sound.''
Williams, who is non-verbal, cannot communicate his name and has no ID, was last seen about 3:30 p.m. Thursday at his home on the 8600 block of South Exchange Avenue in the South Chicago neighborhood, police said in an endangered missing person report.
Williams has gone missing before and walks far distances, being found as far as Palos Park and Oak Lawn in the past, police said. He likes McDonald's and cartoons.
