A man who was reported missing after being last seen in a Norridge cemetery a week ago was found dead Friday in a vehicle in the Jefferson Park neighborhood, authorities said.

Donald Ritt, 63, had been last seen June 1 at Acacia Cemetery, 7800 W. Irving Park Rd. in Norridge, according to missing person alert issued Wednesday. Ritt's body was found in the 6300 block of West Strong Street Friday, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

A body was found in a vehicle on Strong about 7:15 p.m. Friday, and Area North detectives were conducting a death investigation, police said.

The missing person's alert said Ritt, of 5200 block of North Liano Avenue, had been last seen driving a 2008 Mitsubishi sedan, and the vehicle found Friday appeared to be a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer.

An autopsy Saturday was inconclusive, pending toxicology tests. The missing person alert had said that Ritt was "in poor health."
