Juveniles arrested after Naperville burglary

About 12:37 p.m. Naperville Police got a call of a burglary in progress on the 3500 block of Scottsdale Circle in the White Eagle subdivision, according to a police news release.
Officers discovered that before they got there, the suspects had been observed, chased and temporarily detained by a homeowner before fleeing the scene.
Officers searched the immediate area with help from Aurora Police and K-9 units from the DuPage County Sheriff’s police, according to the release.
About 1:07 p.m., Aurora Police located one of the suspects on Schoger Road and the second suspect at 1:50 p.m. in the vicinity of Bar Harbour Road. Both locations were not far from the burglary scene, police said.
Both suspects are juveniles and no charges had been filed as of about 5 p.m. Friday, while the incident remains an active investigation by the Naperville Police Department.
While thanking the homeowner who tried to hold the suspects, police caution citizens on the attempted apprehension of criminals and recommend being good witnesses, according to the release.
