WASHINGTON—First lady Michelle Obama returns to Chicago next Tuesday for a pair of campaign fundraisers, one with actress Jane Lynch from television’s “Glee.”

The lunch with the first lady and Lynch will be held at 11 a.m. at Fulton’s on the River, 315 N. La Salle St. Tickets start at $250.

Lynch is a native of Dolton.

Later Obama will appear at a reception at Venue One, 1044 W. Randolph St. That event is being hosted by Gen44, the campaign’s fundraising arm for young adults. It takes its name from the fact that Barack Obama is the nation’s 44th president.

The reception opens to guests at 3 p.m. Tickets are $44; $100; $250; or $2,500 for a reception that includes a photo with the first lady and up to five people, according to an invitation.

The events benefit the president’s re-election campaign, the Democratic National Committee and several Democratic state parties.

Mrs. Obama, a Chicago native, spent last weekend in the city with the president and their two daughters, staying in their home in the Kenwood neighborhood.
