Deanna Dunagan to return to Chicago stage in 'A Little Night Music'

The Tony Award-winning actress Deanna Dunagan has been absent from the stage since her internationally acclaimed performance in Tracy Letts' "August: Osage County." Writers' Theatre said Thursday that she is coming back as part of the cast of the upcoming production of Stephen Sondheim's "A Little Night Music," directed by William Brown and slated to open to open in Glencoe in May.

Dunagan will play Madame Arnfeldt.

The cast also includes Shannon Cochran as Desiree Arnfeldt, Jonathan Weir ("Jersey Boys") as Fredrik Egerman, Brianna Borger (as Petra), Shannon Corey (as Fredericka Arnfeldt), Brandon Dahlquist (as Count Malcolm), John Finley (Frid), Kristen French (Anne Egerman), Cory Goodrich (Malla), Royen Kent (Henrik Egerman) and Tiffany Scott (Countess Malcolm).
