Three men were shot, one fatally, about 4:35 p.m. Saturday in the 8600 block of South Kingston Avenue in the South Chicago neighborhood on the South Side, said Chicago Fire Department spokesman Juan Hernandez.

Two other men were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in fair-to-serious condition, Hernandez said. One, age 26, was shot in the right wrist, and another, age 28, was shot in the upper left leg, police said.
The three were standing in the street on Kingston Avenue when a green Chevrolet pulled up, and at least one person in the car started shooting, hitting the three before driving off, police said.
No one was in custody, poice said.
Another man was wounded 8:40 p.m. Saturday in the 6600 block of North Ashland Avenue in the Rogers Park neighborhood. The man, 23, was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He's in serious condition, Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
A 26-year-old man was shot about 11:50 p.m. in the 6100 block of South Vernon Avenue in the West Woodlawn neighborhood, police said. He was taken to the University of Chicago Hospital with a wound to his forearm.
In the Morgan Park neighborhood about 12:45 a.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in the leg by someone who fired at least 10 times. Casings littered the sidewalk in a small cluster next to a vacant home on Throop Street just south of 109th Street.The man was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital with a minor leg wound, police said.
At least four people were wounded in shootings between 3 and 3:35 a.m. this morning.
Two men were shot about 3 a.m. in the 2700 block of West Harrison Street in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side. A 23-year-old was shot in the right arm and a 20-year-old in the right knee; both were taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Alfaro said. They were on a sidewalk when someone in another group of people opened fire, hitting the two.
A man in his 20s walked into Stroger hospital with a gunshot wound to his left knee and right leg about 3:10 a.m., police said. He had been shot in the 1200 block of West Washburne Avenue in the University Village / Little Italy neighborhood.
A 16-year-old boy was shot in the abdomen in the 7800 block of South Langley Avenue in the Chatham neighborhood about 3:35 a.m. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center; no condition was available but police believed the wound was not life-threatening.
In the 3800 block of West Grenshaw Street in the Lawndale neighborhood, a 39-year-old man was shot in the back and arm about 5:10 a.m. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada said.
A 20-year-old man was shot about the same time in the 3400 block of West North Avenue in the Logan Square neighborhood. He walked into Norwegian-American Hospital with a wound to his arm.
Two people were shot about 5:35 a.m. in the 1400 block of West 17th Street in the Pilsen neighborhood. A 32-year-old woman is at the University of Illinois Hospital with a gunshot wound to her buttocks and a 32-year-old man refused treatment for a graze wound to his left thigh, Estrada said. They were on a porch when someone walked up and started shooting.
Someone shot a man in Englewood about 6:30 a.m., according to the Chicago Fire Department. The 42-year-old was shot in the 5600 block of South Emerald Avenue and taken to Stroger hospitalin serious-to-critical condition, authorities said.
