The Hawks are in Nashville to face the Predators on Tuesday night Bridgestone Arena. The Hawks started their slide with two consecutive losses to Nashville prior the NHL All-Star Game break and are in desperate need of a victory to stop their free fall in the Central Division and Western Conference.
The Hawks have dropped five points back of fifth-place Nashville in the Western Conference.
"They're playing very well," Quenneville said. "They beat us pretty well in those two games we saw them going into the break. They're doing a lot of things well in their game. Our mentality has to be like a playoff game. We have to have a Game 7 mentality to get out of it."
John Scott will play for the Hawks after being a healthy scratch the previous four games. Scott will either be a deventh defenseman or shift to the wing and play on the fourth line with Michael Frolik and Brendan Morrison being scratches.
Ray Emery will be in goal for the Hawks and will be opposed by Pekka Rinne for the Predators.
