Not quite a fun house and yet not a typical roller coaster, Hersheypark's newest ride combines some of the best elements of both.
The family-friendly Laff Trakk is the country's first indoor, spinning "glow-coaster." It's a steel ride, somewhat like a Wild Mouse, that flies around the track inside a huge building, as colorful images from the park's fun house past seem to float by.
The coaster is the 13th for the park, which debuted its first roller coaster, Comet, in 1946.
Katie Conlon, 13, of Bethlehem Township, declared the new ride "fun and cute."
She and her cousin rode the ride four times during a preview last week....
