In the first 'Opposition' episode, Jordan Klepper feels shadow of 'Colbert'

Stephen Colbert, in the very first edition of “The Colbert Report,” staked out new territory: He coined the term “truthiness,” signifying a reality derived from what one person feels to be true, the objective facts, whatever those are, be damned. It has pretty much defined the subsequent decade plus of extreme political polarization in the United States.

Now Jordan Klepper, whose new Comedy Central show “The Opposition” is patterned, at least a little bit, on its Colbert predecessor, has planted his own flag in the fertile fields of contemporary linguistics.
