On The Fly: Sun Shines On Connecticut's WNBA Team

The sun is shining on the Connecticut Sun. The Associated Press named head coach Curt Miller WNBA Coach of the Year Tuesday while center Jonquel Jones — JJ — earned Most Improved Player honors after breaking the single-season rebounding record set by former UConn star Tina Charles in 2010. Jones, in her second season, became the first player in WNBA history to collect 400 rebounds in a season (403). She also had 20 double-doubles in 2017.
