Two views, one deal Two recent articles in your Opinion section (Trudy Rubin's "Israeli Iran deal support," Aug. 8, and Charles Krauthammer's "This deal is only good for Iran," Aug.10) take opposing views on the Iran nuclear deal. Rubin supports it, but apparently only because to kill it would adversely affect Israel. Krauthammer opposes the deal — and for the same reason, if his past comments on the subject are any indication. But both columnists gloss over a point that neither defenders nor opponents of the deal ever mention: Iran does not have a nuclear weapons program.
