Great, more label reading, just what I wanted!
My dad was a big believer in the clean plate club. When I was little, my mom would make us a balanced meal, generally consisting of some meat, a veggie and a carb. My siblings and I were expected to eat it all, or remain at the table until we did. Generally 3 out of the 4 of us didn't spend our days turning our nose up at our plate!
So, it's only natural that I grew up wanting to provide a balanced diet for my family. However, unlike my mom, I'm not a great cook and have little interest in learning how to get better. I cook, and sometimes it turns out ok, but it's not my favorite.
