The proposed Crystal Spring development on Forest Drive has captured public attention for many reasons, primary among which are environmental concerns. Annapolis has very little forest left and this is the largest remaining. On July 30, the Annapolis Environmental Commission (AEC) submitted formal comments to the city summarizing its assessment of the developer's Forest Conservation Plan, just one step in a complex development review process.
