Wild West Rodeo Days at Adventure Park USA
Adventure Park USA in Frederick County will host a two-day rodeo event this Saturday and Sunday. The event features bull riding, a "little wranglers" rodeo, rodeo clowns, trick roping, barrel racing, line dancing and cowboy shoot-outs. A cowboy breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday for $5 with admission.
All Wild West events are included with park admission. Tickets are $30 for ages 8 and up and $18 for kids 7 and younger. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Go to adventureparkusa.com for more information.
'Surf's Up! Riding the Waves of Change'
The Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum is opening a new exhibit chronicling the history of surfing in Ocean City. The exhibit will feature surfboards, bathing fashions, T-shirts, surfing memorabilia and a special Will Lucas video.
Museum admission is $3 for adults, $2 for seniors (62 and older) and active military personnel, $1 for children (Ages 6-17). Children age 6 and younger are free. The museum is on the southern end of the Boardwalk, at 813 S. Atlantic Ave., Ocean City. Go to ocmuseum.org or call 410-289-4991.
The Great American Festival
Get an early start on Independence Day with a music festival this coming Saturday at the National Harbor featuring 12 bands and DJs on three waterfront stages, food and a fireworks display overlooking the Potomac. Shows are 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. with a lineup that includes Ozomatli, The Dance Party, See-I, Lost in Paris, Skratch & Sniff, DJ Pat Premier, Neekola, Chris Styles, DJ Beach and others.

Laurel Ridgeline Canopy Tours

Busch Gardens wants to light up your summer with the return of IllumiNights: A Busch Gardens Encore. For 50 nights beginning this coming Sunday, the park will be filled with live performances followed by a nightly fireworks display. Travel to different country settings in the park for performances. End each day with a spectacular fireworks display that can be seen throughout the park.
