April 20: The 7th Annual Emily Schindler Memorial Triathlon, which features an 800-yard swim, 91/2-mile bike ride and three-mile run, will be held at the Community Center in Severna Park. The registration fee is $50 for an individual, $90 for a two-person relay team and $135 for a three-person team. Race for Excellence
April 27: Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association Central Maryland 6th Annual Race For Excellence, 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run. May 5: Terrapin Adventures has partnered with Playworks Baltimore to host a 5K run through the woods of Savage to benefit the nonprofit Playworks Baltimore and its effort to bring safe, meaningful play to Baltimore schools. Md. Half Marathon
May 11: Registration is open for the fifth annual Maryland Half Marathon to benefit the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center. The race will be in the Maple Lawn community of Howard County. The cost of registration will be $75 until Jan. 31, $85 in February and $90 from March 1 to May 11.
