A 9-year-old girl died after being struck by a car in Middle River on Wednesday, Baltimore County police said.
At 5:07 p.m., county police and fire personnel responded to Graythorn and Kingston roads for a report of a pedestrian who had been struck, police said.
There they found Amaria Gould, of the 2100 block of Graythorn Road, who had been hit by a Dodge Charger, police said. She was flown to a local hospital by a Maryland State Police helicopter.

Gould had "entered the roadway from between two cars and crossed in front of the vehicle," police said.
The girl was later pronounced dead at Johns Hopkins Hospital, police said.
The driver of the Dodge remained at the scene of the collision, and has not been issued any citations, according to police.
The county police crash team is investigating the incident.
