One dead, three others shot in three city incidents

A man was killed and another three wounded in city shootings on Monday, Baltimore Police said.

The first incident, in the 2900 block Brighton Street, was the non-fatal shooting of a 38-year-old man at around 12:25 a.m., police said. Homicide detectives are investigating the case because of the severity of the man's injuries, police said.

Then about 20 minutes later, in the 600 block of Belair Road, 42-year-old Shante Authur was shot multiple times and died of his wounds, police said.

A 33-year-old man was shot in the hip shortly before 2 a.m. in the 1300 block of N. Fulton Ave, police said. He told officers his attacker fled the scene after the shooting, police said.

At 10:51 a.m., police said a 28-year-old man walked into an area hospital after being shot in his groin. The man told detectives he was shot by an unknown suspect in the 2700 block of W. North Ave.

Police said they have no suspects in any of the incidents.

Police also identified a man shot in the 1600 block of E. Madison St. early Sunday who died of his wounds later in the day as Tashawn Roberts, 30.
