In response to the letter from Arthur Pierce of Randallstown ("Obama: good president, bad theologian," May 23), I would agree that voters should respect the intent of the Founding Fathers to keep separate matters of state from matters of religion.
President Barack Obama has clearly done the opposite in his health plan that requires Catholic organizations to offer birth control to employees on their health plans which is against the Catholic faith.
This is obviously not separation of church and state, which I agree with 100 percent.
