Gary Gamber of Reisterstown looks forward to the day when all citizens will be able to carry concealed weapons, and criminals will have to think to themselves, "Is he or she packing or not?" ("Society's lawlessness is reason enough to carry a gun" Mar. 25.)
Unfortunately, all of us will have to ask the same question on a daily basis. Is the guy I need to fire packing heat? Is that man over there fighting with his wife carrying a gun? Is the lady whose parking space I "stole" packing, or not?
I have been screamed at and cursed for slowing traffic to allow a pedestrian to cross the street. I would prefer not to be shot for this, as well.
