The 37-story downtown hotel that was for decades the Tremont Plaza Hotel is now the Embassy Suites Baltimore-Downtown, hotel management announced Monday.
"We're pleased to mark the official opening of our Baltimore-Downtown property," said John Rogers, global head of Embassy Suites Hotels, a division of Hilton Worldwide.
"As we're focused on growing the brand in urban markets, this is an excellent demonstration of how our flexible design approach can meet the needs of a downtown location," Rogers said in a statement.
