Asthma camp for children

The Baltimore Washington Medical Center will sponsor "Camp Airways" from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Aug. 4-8 at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore & Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park. The camp, for children ages 6 to 12, will teach children how to live with and manage asthma. Cost $70. The medical center is also looking for junior counselors who are at least 15 years of age and available to attend camp from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration required for campers and counselors. Breast cancer awareness

The Department of Health's Learn to Live program is offering a free women's health kit that includes information on cancer screenings, nutrition and other women's health topics. Support groups
