Summer film series
Congregation Kneseth Israel presents a summer film series beginning Tuesday, July 2 at 1125 Spa Road in Annapolis. Screenings at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $5 per person and include popcorn and soft drinks. Information: knesethisrael.org.

The Annapolis Maritime Museum's 13th annual Summertime Maritime Concert Series, featuring Chesapeake Bay musicians and artists from across the country, continues at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11 with Wayne Taylor, and the Mickey Basil Duo in Cap'n Herbie Sadler Waterman's Park, 723 Second St. Admission is free, but a $10 donation will be accepted. Pasadena Theatre Company presents the musical July 5-21 at the Chesapeake Arts Center, 194 Hammonds Lane in Brooklyn Park. Shows are at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays. Tours will be held at 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Saturdays, July 13, 20; Aug. 17, 24 and Sept. 14, 28. Visitors can learn about how lighthouse keepers lived, other lighthouses on the Chesapeake Bay and how many are still around. Tickets are $70 per person. Reservations required. The Colonial Players will hold auditions Sunday-Monday, July 14-15 for "Communicating Doors," Alan Ayckbourn's comic thriller that will be presented in September. Roles are available for three women, ages 33-55 and three men, ages 35-70. Auditions will be held at 2 p.m. July 14 and 7 p.m. July 15 with callbacks July 17 if necessary.
