Yanda had missed the previous two days of practice after suffering ribs and thigh bruises in Saturday’s 20-14 win against the Cleveland Browns, but returned to practice Friday on a limited basis. Yanda, who was listed as doubtful, has not missed a start since Nov. 22, 2009.
Defensive end Cory Redding is active and is expected to start. Redding did not play against Cleveland due to an injured right ankle.
Kicker Billy Cundiff (left calf) will also play. Like Williams, Cundiff had been limited three straight days and questionable for Sunday’s contest.
The Ravens will play, however, without wide receiver Anquan Boldin. Boldin – who underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his knee last week – had been previously ruled out after sitting out Wednesday’s and Thursday’s sessions. But he was limited in practice Friday, which was apparently enough for the team to upgrade his availability to doubtful.
Boldin will be joined by kicker Shayne Graham and inside linebacker Dannell Ellerbe. Graham, who kicked for seven seasons at Paul Brown Stadium as a member of the Bengals and went 2-for-2 in the win against the Browns, will sit due to the return of Cundiff, and Ellerbe did not practice last week because of post-concussion symptoms.
In addition to Boldin, Graham and Ellerbe, the team deactivated cornerback Danny Gorrer, outside linebacker Sergio Kindle, rookie running back Anthony Allen and rookie offensive tackle D.J. Jones.
For Cincinnati, all four starters in rookie wide receiver A.J. Green (sprained AC joint in right shoulder), defensive end Frostee Rucker (neck), strong safety Chris Crocker (knee) and left tackle Andrew Whitworth (knee) are active after being listed as probable.
Reserve defensive end Carlos Dunlap (hamstring) is also active after being limited in practice Friday after missing Wednesday’s and Thursday’s sessions. He was questionable for Sunday.
The Bengals scratched strong safety Taylor Mays (hamstring), outside linebacker Dontay Moch (illness), free safety Robert Sands, guard Otis Hudson, tight end Colin Cochart, wide receiver Armon Binns and defensive tackle Nick Hayden.
