The week that was: '80s invasion, WTMD moves, Kegasus returns and more

Here's a round-up of our week at Midnight Sun:

•••• The '80s were back this week. I caught up with members of old Baltimore hair-metal bands. See what they're up to (and what they look like now) here. The fun didn't stop there: Van Halen played Verizon Center, and Lexie Mountain wrote a review of the show. We took photos, too.

•••• Surprise! (Or not.) Kegasus is back.

•••• Towson's WTMD is moving to a new headquarters in Towson. Details here.

•••• Erik checked out the new Greene Turtle at McHenry Row. Read his review here.

•••• The excellent indie-rock band Cloud Nothings plays the Ottobar on Sunday. I interviewed lead singer Dylan Baldi about his band's new album and more. Read the story here.

•••• Midnight Sun alum Sam Sessa interviewed local singer-songwriter ellen cherry about her new album and working with Caleb Stine. Read the interview here.

•••• In concert news, Aerosmith will play Jiffy Lube Live this summer.

•••• Mac Miller plays Patriot Center this weekend, and I tried to work out some feelings about the Pittsburgh rapper with my weekend pick.
