Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome is among the front office executives scheduled to speak at an NFL career development symposium at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
The symposium is scheduled for May 6 to May 8.
Sixty-four assistant coaches and front office executives will take part in the three-day program designed to assist aspiring head coach and general manager candidates through speeches, panel discussions, breakout sessions and networking opportunities with owners, team presidents, coaches, general managers and league executives.

“We are pleased to offer this program to provide a diverse group of coaching and front office talent with the tools and networking opportunities to take the next step in their careers,” NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said. “This symposium will help develop our coaching and front office pipeline and build on the progress we have made over the past decade.”
Besides Newsome, the following speakers are on the schedule: Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan, New York Giants owner John Mara, Arizona Cardinals president Michael Bidwill, Atlanta Falcons president Rich McKay, Dolphins vice president of football operations Dawn Aponte, Kansas City Chiefs general manager John Dorsey, Atlanta Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitrof, New York Jets general manager John Idzik, Houston Texans general manager Rick Smith, St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher, Cincinnati Bengals coach Marvin Lewis, Miami Dolphins coach Joe Philbin, Atlanta Falcons coach Mike Smith, Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin and former NFL general managers Bill Polian and Charley Casserly.
The career development symposium previously ran from 1998-2008.
