Meet your menus: Baltimore Winter Restaurant Week 2012 on its way
Baltimore Winter Restaurant Week 2012 is on its way. This year's promotion runs from Jan. 20 through Jan. 29, 2012, and there are a couple of switch-ups. Participating restaurants can now offer a three-course dinner for either $30.12 or $20.12 (but not both), and lunch has been trimmed down from three courses to two, which is now $15.12

More restaurants will be joining the line-up, but only four of the 63 restaurants that have signed up as of Dec. 19 are offering the new lower-priced three-course option -- Chiapparelli's, Michael's Steak and Lobster, Mezze and Tapas Adela.

A few of the participating restaurants in Winter Restaurant Week 2012 have already posted their menus on the promotion's official website.

Sotto Sopra dropped off Riccardo Bosio's restaurant week dinner and lunch menus at the Baltimore Diner. That was nice. Sotto Sopra offers more options than do many other restaurants, even if sometimes that means giving diners the option of paying a premium for a certain item. Makes sense to me.

Have a look at Sotto Sopra's restaurant week dinner menu.
