Baseball America agrees that the organization's first-round draft picks the past two seasons possess that kind of promise.
Bundy and Gausman are listed as the Orioles' top two prospects in Baseball America's Top 10 prospects list, which was released Monday morning.

Bundy, the flame-throwing 2011 first-round pick who made his major league debut last month, is ranked the organization's top prospect -- he will likely be a top-five prospect overall -- and Gausman, the Orioles' first-round pick this past June out of LSU, is ranked No. 2.
Bundy began his first pro season at low Class-A Delmarva and ended it in the major leagues as a September call up. He was 9-3 with a 2.08 ERA with 67 hits and 119 strikeouts in 104 minor league inning across three different levels.
Gausman also figures to be a fast riser through the Orioles farm system. He opened the season at short-season Aberdeen and five starts later threw three shutout innings in the Eastern League playoffs for Double-A Bowie.
Infielder Jonathan Schoop, who spent this season at Bowie and is currently playing well in the Arizona Fall League, is ranked third and first baseman/second baseman Nicky Delmonico, who played his first pro season this past year at low Class-A Delmarva, is fourth. Venezuelan left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez, who emerged this season at Delmarva, is ranked No. 5.
Two outfielders who made their major league debuts this season, L.J. Hoes and Xavier Avery, were ranked sixth and seventh respectively. Hoes, who was the organization's top minor league position player this season, also rated as being the organization's best hitter for average, having the best strike zone discipline and the top outfield arm by Baseball America.
Orioles 2011 third-round pick Mike Wright, who was 10-5 between Frederick and Bowie this season, is eighth. A pair of 2012 draft picks, second-round selection Brendan Kline -- a U.Va. product out of Frederick -- and Miami high school shortstop Adrian Marin, the club's third-round pick in June, rounded out the top 10.
Here is the complete list, including list of the best tools in the organization.
