Living on the shoreline, we have been lucky enough to take part in many wonderful events at the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme, a beautiful place that sparks kids' imaginations with wonderful exhibits, featuring artistic Christmas trees and nursery rhymes. Our favorite has always been the incredible Wee Faerie Village in the fall, a beautiful display of tiny, handmade houses tucked into wooded areas of the museum's gorgeous grounds. The boys have always been enchanted by this yearly tradition, as they run around with their checklists, finding hidden treasure, as we gaze upon the changing leaves over the Lieutenant River.
