  1. Are More 150-Year-Olds On The Horizon?

    The Hartford Courant
When it comes to life expectancy, baby boomers sentiments might best be captured in the song lyric from Fame: "I want to live forever." Of course, we don't actually want to live forever (particularly after what we have done to these bodies), but now...

  11. Kingsley Guy: Florida still needs election changes

  13. Answer the question, Mr. President

I love to hear Democrats still blame George W. Bush for all their ills. Jay Carney said last week that Benghazi was a long time ago — it happened 8 months ago. But President Bush is still brought up, after 54 months of not being in office, as a ...

  15. Define a 'bad day'

Life isn't that bad. I was running late to work today and had to take a much more crowded bus than the earlier ones and had to stand instead of comfortably sit. Knowing I had to stand for an hour on my way in to work, I instinctively thought, "what a...

  17. Review: 'Cooked' by Michael Pollan

Michael Pollan went shopping for lunch in a Brooklyn, N.Y., supermarket, and the news made the New York Times. That the Times' Dining section had asked him to go, along with Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Michael Moss, was the major reason, of course. But the idea of asking Pollan, the man who coined the dietary dictum, "Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants," to come down from the Mount Olympus of artisan food that is Berkeley, Calif., to shop with the hoi polloi in a regular ol' supermarket struck me as interesting, fun and, most of all, newsy.

I vaguely remember you recommending Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner for cars with fuel injectors. If not, can you please recommend a product and the quantity to use per tank of gas? Would an occasional tank of premium gas also help?</strong>
