3. Go away with Seth Rogen

Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, actor Seth Rogen, 30, always assumed his career would be behind the scenes. Though he started doing stand-up comedy as a teenager in Canada and had a co-starring role on the short-lived series, "Freaks and Geeks," he was comfortable working as a staff writer on such projects as Sacha Baron Cohen's "Da Ali G Show." But these days, the affable actor-screenwriter is best known for his comedic work in films such as "Knocked Up" and "Pineapple Express." In his latest movie, "The Guilt Trip," Rogen and his on-screen mom, Barbra Streisand, take a cross-country road trip. To stay in touch with Rogen, fans may follow him on Twitter (at)Sethrogen.

7. How Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence found the 'Silver Linings'

When Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence met for the first time before shooting the new David O. Russell movie "Silver Linings Playbook," they didn't opt for a conventional encounter. There was no leisurely table read of the script, no tell-me-your-hopes-and-dreams lunch with a director.

Los Angeles Times Film Critic
When Ronald Reagan was asked, as he periodically was, whether his experience as an actor had helped him to be an effective president, he'd genially respond that he didn't know how anybody could do the job without having been an actor. He was, Reagan...

21. Directors discuss the work and play angles

In the costly and time-intensive discipline of animated filmmaking, every movie comes with high stakes. Five directors who recently came together for the first Envelope Animation Round Table discussed the artistic and business demands of the medium.
