For Enrico Fermi High School valedictorian Kerry Davis, the most rewarding moment of high school came not in the classroom, but on a field hockey green. During her junior year, Davis's varsity team made it to the second round of the state championship.
"Winning that first round was an unbelievable feeling," Davis said.
Sports have figured prominently in Davis' high school experience. She played field hockey and basketball all four years, captained the field hockey team for the last two years, and joined the softball team during her senior year.
