GLASTONBURY - The Connecticut Historical Society and Welles Turner Memorial Library are sponsoring "From Hula Hoops to High Fashion: G. Fox in the 1950s" on Thursday. Joe Waxman, a volunteer at the Connecticut Historical Society who grew up in Hartford, will take attendees "down memory lane" with a look at the history of one the state's favorite department stores.
