Eclectic Exhibits For Summer Viewing

Wherever you travel in Connecticut this summer, there will be a new museum exhibit to strike the fancy.

In the southwest corner, the Bruce Museum will show photography that studies motion. In the southeast, the Lyman Allyn salutes the civil rights era and LGBT artists. In the heart of the state, the Wadsworth Atheneum will continue its long-running MATRIX series. Yale will show 16th-century French art and South American textiles. Mattatuck in Waterbury will have an exciting summer, opening seven exhibits on the same day.
