After a long season of passionate celebrities fighting for various charities, Donald Trump has named John Rich the new Celebrity Apprentice. In the two-hour live finale on NBC Sunday night, the outcome of John and competitor Marlee Matlin’s final task was shown. Both stars created spectacular events showcasing 7UP Retro and both impressed the 7UP executives. John says winning Celebrity Apprentice is all about how you play the game. “You had to keep your head in the game and you had to be thinking forward and not become a victim of that game. You had to make that game work for you.” During the finale, John and Marlee came together for a performance of John’s “For The Kids,” a song he wrote and made available on iTunes to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “It is the answer to the question, ‘Why did you do Celebrity Apprentice,’ for that performance. Give me a chance to get in front of 30-million people and sing a song about St. Jude and give you an opportunity to go click a button and go put a dollar, twenty-nine in their pocket. That’s why I did the show.” John raised an extra 275-thousand dollars during his last task and picked up 250-thousand for being picked as the Apprentice. Combined with money raised throughout the season, the Big & Rich star raked in well over a million for St. Jude.
