Former UC Irvine water polo All-American and Olympian Tim Hutten scored four goals to lead his Victorian Tigers to a 10-5 win over the UWA Torpedoes in the Australian National Water Polo League championship game in Sydney, Australia, Sunday.
The win capped a 25-1 season for the Tigers.
Hutten, a two-time All-American for UCI, was the 2008 recipient of the Peter J. Cutino Award given annually to the top player in the NCAA. He has been a member of the last two U.S. Olympic teams, including the 2008 squad that won silver in Beijing.
Brandon Johnson, a three-time All-American while competing for the 'Eaters, was a member of the UWA Torpedoes squad.
