The Mark Twain House & Museum's popular Graveyard Shift Ghost Tours return for some encore winter chills in the Clemens mansion on Jan. 29 and 30.
The historic home was investigated by TAPS for SyFy's Ghost Hunters and an episode of "My Ghost Story." Tour takers will hear about these investigations and learn about Mark Twain's own interest in the supernatural during the hourlong guided adventure, which takes you through the main house, the servants' wing and down into the basement, normally off-limits to visitors.
Tours step off at 6, 7, 8 and 9 p.m. Tickets are $22 for adults; $17 for members; and $15 for children 16 and under. Recommended for ages 10 and older. Tickets sell out quickly, so advance purchase is recommended. Information: 860-247-0998 and marktwainhouse.org.
