LHP Josh Outman, designated for assignment by the Yankees on Sept. 22, was outrighted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on the last day of the season. He made nine appearances for the Yankees after being acquired from the Indians on Aug. 28. In those games, Outman allowed two hits in 3 2/3 scoreless innings. He went 4-0 with a 3.28 ERA in 31 appearances for Cleveland this year.
