About 3A meet: Junior Marlena Pigliacampi of Daytona Beach Seabreeze is the highest-seeded area swimmer at No. 3 in the 100-yard fly and 100 free. The Sandcrabs' girls qualified for the 200 and 400 free relays. Lake Nona's Spencer Lucas (500 free, 200 IM) and Madeline Tracht (diving), and Harmony's Luke Roberts (50 free, 100 free) bear watching.

About 4A meet: Dr. Phillips' girls team, last year's state runner-up, will look to Emily Kliewer (200 IM, 100 fly) and Cindy Cheng (200 free, 100 back) to lead the Panthers individually and as part of the 200 medley relay team. Other girls to watch include Alecia Camp (50 free, 100 free) of Oviedo and West Orange diver Rileigh Knox. Timber Creek boys Alex Kimpel (200 IM, 100 back, 200 medley relay) and Zachary Poti (100 fly, 100 back, 200 medley relay) are seeded in the top three in their events. DP's Evan Staton (50 free, 100 free), Olympia's Joey Dowd (diving) and Port Orange Spruce Creek's Viktor Toth (100 free, 200 free) are worth watching.
