The Wichita State offense continued to roll, and the Shockers got a little revenge as well in their elimination game against Southern Illinois.

After falling in the opening game of the MVC tournament to Southern Illinois, the Shockers got their revenge by knocking out the Salukis, this time with a 15-0 seven-inning win.

The Shocker bats have now combined for 26 runs in the last two games after being held to one run in the first game.

For the second-straight game, WSU was helped by a strong first inning, as the Shox pushed two across the plate. The bats where quiet for the next two innings, but then the flood gates opened in the fourth and fifth inning, as they scored ten runs combined.

Garrett Brummett had a strong showing on the mound for the Shockers. The freshman lasted five innings, giving up 3 hits and no runs.

The Shockers next play Indiana State on Thursday afternoon. That game is currently scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m., however rain is in the area, and the first game had a brief rain-delay.

The Shockers are now in a situation where they have to beat Indiana State twice for a chance to get to the Championship game.
