Gus Cruz

Cruz Grows Up: Gus Cruz, the Huskies' 6-foot-2, 306-pound sophomore guard will get his second start of the season. And for the second time it comes in place of senior guard Adam Masters. The versatile Masters missed the Maryland with an injury, but now he is out for the season after sustaining an ankle injury against Syracuse. Now, it is Cruz's job to carry the weight at right guard for the rest of the season. Fortunately for Cruz, he has been rotating in all season to gain experience, yes, but also in the event of the injury. Will he be ready for this one because he is the man now?
