The Catholic Seven:
The seven Catholic schools all play basketball and other sports, but didn’t like the direction of the conference so they decided at the end of 2012 to leave as one. The schools:
Providence
Seton Hall
Georgetown
Villanova
Marquette
DePaul
Note: Providence, Seton Hall, Georgetown and St. John’s are charter members of the Big East
