The Big East: Where It's Been, Where It's Going
Since its inception in 1979, the Big East Conference has seen its share of changes. Schools are leaving, schools are coming in, some are even agreeing to join the conference and then leaving without even playing a single game. We've made keeping up with the always changing Big East easier.

University of Cincinnati
Cincinnati joined the Big East in 2005 in all sports. Before that, the school was a founding member of Conference USA in 1995. Cincinnati was - along with UConn - considered a candidate to join the ACC in November, but Louisville was invited instead.
