6. Donyell Marshall, fourth overall, Minnesota, 1994: Marshall was the first player to leave UConn early for the NBA, departing after his junior season. He averaged 10.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 40 games with the Timberwolves ¿ and he was even better after a midseason trade (for Tom Gugliotta) to Golden State. In 32 games with the Warriors, Marshall averaged 14.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks. His combined rookie averages were 12.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks. He spent four more years with Golden State before winding up with Utah, one of his nine teams, as part of a four-team trade.
