5. ¿Connecticut Day¿ At The Rent

Should bring in a lot of folks, but we¿ll see. The Huskies drew 35,270 for the season opener against UMass, and 34,202 the following week against a very good N.C. State team. ¿Connecticut Day¿ will include: the UConn men¿s basketball team signing autographs at Fan Fest (between Gates C and D) from 10:30-11:30 a.m.; the Trinity College women's lacrosse team, which won the NCAA Division III championship last spring, being honored after the first quarter; and the New Haven-based Walter Camp Football Foundation being recognized during the second quarter. Local Boy Scout troops will parade around the field at halftime.
