Conard High School

Conard High School students met with U.S. Rep. John Larson, D-1st District, in the school's auditorium Thursday and asked questions about social security, the national deficit, and whether the U.S. had a viable exit strategy for Iraq. After acknowledging the presence of Emilee Philippon, a Conard senior whose older brother Lawrence Philippon was killed in Iraq last month, Larson explained that announcing an exit strategy would amount to telling the insurgents what the U.S. plans to do.
