5. HITTING THE ROAD ... AND GETTING HIT BACK

UConn last won at Rutgers in 2004 (41-35) when Dan Orlovsky (pictured) was quarterback. The Huskies were beaten 24-13 in 2006; in 2008, they lost 12-10 in a  game that set offense back 50 years; and in 2010, they lost 27-24. The Scarlet Knights won¿t make this trip easy on UConn:  There¿s a blackout scheduled for fans and new black  jerseys are expected to be donned by players. Still, none of that can matter to UConn, which at 3-2 needs a win. This one would be a signature victory, even if it is a tall order in a tough environment.
