Rob Ambrose, an assistant to Randy Edsall when Edsall was head coach at UConn, said recruits no longer want to go to Maryland, they want to go to Towson, located in Baltimore County. Edsall brushed it off Monday at Big Ten media day ("I don't worry about what other people think"), the smart thing to do. Edsall's team is in one of the powerhouse football conferences. Ambrose has done great work at Towson, but it is FCS football, a step below FBS. Towson, by the way, opens at home Aug. 30 vs Central Connecticut in coach Pete Rossomando's debut for the Blue Devils. ...
