Guerdwich Montimere, a former Dillard basketball player who is facing felony charges for portraying himself as 16-year-old Jerry Joseph in Texas, gave his first interview in 13 months to GQ magazine.

In the July 2011 issue, Michael J. Mooney writes: "He really wants to spill his heart, but his lawyer tells him he shouldn't. He says he's writing a book in his head." The interview was conducted as Montimere was sitting behind bulletproof glass at the Ector County jail in Odessa, Texas.
