Suffolk's Sugar Rodgers, who starred at Georgetown, was selected 14th overall in the WNBA draft Monday night by the Minnesota Lynx.

Rodgers, who attended Kings Fork before setting Georgetown records for points and steals, was the nation's No. 4 scorer this season. The 5-foot-11 guard averaged 22.9 points per game this season.

Baylor's Brittney Griner was the No. 1 overall selection by the Phoenix Mercury. Elena Delle Donne of Delaware was the No. 2 pick by the Chicago Sky.
